My Nissan needs its driver side sill repaired for the mot Anyone recommend me somewhere around Woking / Surey / west London to,weld it up at reasonable cost. Sill is rotten from about half way along and leading into rear arch/ floor.
Car is not worth much hence trying to find a low cost option rather than scap it ( it's a tidy old Primera Gt too good to scrap).

I realise you are probably aware of this, but cheap "MOT welding" is usually something to avoid if you want to keep the car or not re-do it later. People who do it right (without using cornflakes packets or chicken wire) generally charge a little more for their time.

Thanks yes aware of that, my welder guy has retired and he was the sort of guy who was happy welding up old bangers all week long hence his rates were low. Well low compared to going to a regular mechanic eg someone who can do a bit of welding but would give a big job a swerve as it's not a good use of his time.
