Nothing too exciting just a run and few revs. Bit of chatter though! Will have lots of action videos once it's on the ground and I have tuned it.
See if this works

Oh yes, now that I like. I keep thinking that my Escort should really have an engine like this!! Looking forward to a few more build up pics and info.

That looks like it will be a cracking toy. Have you baffled the sump aswell as increasing capacity? Got a CA in my bluebird but obviously front wheel drive so wrong configuration. Good engines, bad reputation for running the bottom end dry but obviously cured with increased capacity and baffling the sump if your going to stick it sideways. Heads also tend to breathe heavy so a decent breather setup and keep it nice and clean is always helping towards its health. I noticed on 1 i have on the engine stand the standard oil coolers sludge up and get blocked so may be an idea to get an aftermarket if you haven't already . Enjoy!

Yes all baffled and trap doored, aftermarket oil cooler and stock completely removed. Also changed the breather pipe that is common for blocking that leads down from the rear of the cam cover to the crank case. Tuning is also a big part of what kills these. Look at 90% of the CAs in this country they will be on a stock ecu and horrible plug in chip. Look to Scandinavia where they have seen 600hp unopened!! and they will be properly tuned on proper ecus which is why I am running this on one of the best available and will spend a lot of time tuning it properly......Also helps that I am a link dealer

Yeah, i'm on stock ecu but no dodgy mass produced chip tuned on an engine completely different to mine, I considered nistune but i have a few other toys to play with before I hunt for more power on the CA. Do you do link ecus for Toyota Chaser jzx100's? Also may be after management for my Nissan Cedric .

I don't believe there are any plugins for the jzx range but you can of course use a wire in. This is a wire in as I had an xtreme laying around and made sense to use it.
I am also a nistune dealer and the cheapest in the UK as it's more of an obsessive hobby than a 'business' any enquiries drop me a PM and I am sure I can sort you out with some very friendly supply prices along with fit and tune of required.

Is that Zirotec coating?
Used on my sleeper project's DP (have a look at my signature link)
The sleeper concept has so many pros and a Lada estate is a great choice.

looks very nice...how it should be done will it be on stealthy looking wheels? please say yes It's on bright red banded steels at the moment it's been around a bit on this forum only done 13,000 miles from New. It will be on revo 5 spokes as they came from the factory black with a slightly polished lip. So not mega stealthy but just nice and subtle giving you a hint it might not be quite standard
