I'm getting the bits together to make a new loom for the cortina, I'd like hazards just in case but I'm struggling to find what's best.
There are kits available but the switch looks very long and I'm not sure if I'll have room under the dash where I'd like to put it so a simple rocker switch would be more suitable - it's just wiring it up!
Is it possible to get a relay that does both indicators and hazards? If so where and how does it wire up?

I'm pretty sure with the correct switch you could just wire it with the existing relay. You want one that will feed the pulsed power from the indicator unit to 2 seperate circuits simultaneously whilst not having them physically connected to each other when not in use.

Yes, a three pin flasher relay should do both. They're usually marked as such too. Re the wiring, here's how I did it: retrorides.proboards.com/post/1340985/thread Still all working fine too. Ok, not completely sure about Opel wiring but this is how I did it with my Ford/VW/Toyota hybrid: Hazard switch 30 : Battery + via a 15A fuse 15 : Ignition switch (via its own 10A fuse if you want) + : Relay terminal 49 49a: Relay terminal 49a & stalk common L : Left lights R : Right lights Body: Vehicle body Stalk Common: Hazard switch 49a L : Left lights R : Right lights Relay 49 : Hazard Switch '+' 49a: Stalk common 31: Vehicle body I think you need to be a bit careful choosing the relay as some three pin types don't have a '31' pin. If it's rated at something like 45W/90W then it's probably the right type.
