I have replicated a couple of parts for them over the last 4 years or so. Going to be great to see the finished vehicles. Part of my every day life that I am normally unable to share. Opportunity of a lifetime to spend time out there, access all areas type of pass.....

Yup, I'm in for this!
You should get a good light show over the South China Sea as you approach the Philippines with the storms we're getting at the moment. It's pretty spectacular flying over and between lightning storms if you've not seen it before, and indeed even if you have!

Will be in Cairns. Varelse has already pointed me in the direction of a carshow that's on whilst I am there. Closes at 9 every night, so worst case scenario can pop in after hours.

I am finally here. Left home Wednesday 6pm and just booked into the hotel now, Friday 2pm. Doing remarkably well seeing the last time I slept was Tuesday night. Knucking fackered. Must be the only person known to mankind who would pay for an upgraded seat on a plane to get more legroom and get the 2030 French Eurovision Song Contest entrant serenading me all night long with Cry,Bawl,and grizzle overture#1. Very healthy set of lungs on the 3 month old critter....Got to question the intelligence of parents who subject their 3 month old babies to the unsuspecting on 14 hr long haul flights. Little critter made it very clear he wasn't amused.... Anyway. More when I am alive again.. Have pictures   |

And they usually insist on crawling over you every few minutes.

Off subject i know but i thought babies couldnt cope with the change in air pressure so were always in pain ? Its not right taking kids like that on a plane for there sake and everyone elses .

Before I moved out to this part of the world, I was doing your trip every two weeks for two years. I reckon that around 30% of the flights had a young 'un on lung exercises. Near me. I always found East-West the killer, although after that many flights, I couldn't remember any more! Long haul is three hours now!  |
