2.0 pinto head with work done?

Hello,

some time after christmas i'll be looking for a 2.0 pinto head thats had work done like porting and polished maybe with a fast road cam.
If you have anything, send me pictures and a price.

Not flash but ive got a couple of standard pinto heads going cheap if you wanted a fresh canvas for getting work done!

jordanisace Hello, to be honest I have thought about porting myself as I got the tools to take the metal out, but the knowledge is lacking so it would be a waste of head. How much was you looking? As someone not to far up the road offered a std head for 30. Not particularly sure what heads are worth these days as a few years ago I chucked a couple out as no one would buy them

I would be asking 30quid aswell, heads got a cam, valves etc as it was removed from an engine last year. Its from a carburettor engine as i think the injection ones are different!

Injection head is a better starting point but doing a standard one to the same ultimate level just requires more work.
Very late EFI heads are also unleaded compatible.

Thanks for the replies guys, i do have a standard head on the car but i don't fancy risking the chance of messing that up. I'll keep an eye for an injection head unless stealthstylz has something at work.

We've got tons of injection heads from stock as removed to full race jobbies. I'll see what sort of prices they are and let you know.

Ok thanks for that, I imagine the full race heads are going to be pricey, so I don't mind just a ported cylinder head to go with my twin 45's, but yeah if you can send prices when you find out, that would be great.
