Well I would but that would have been way too easy. Far better to start a whole thread about it and then openly discuss it at length while getting no answers, surely? LOL (The real reason I didn't pm him is cos he aint been online for a month). |

The thread was precipitated by the theft of one of my cars. The perps were caught because they took it to a reputable scrap metal dealer who as required by law, sent in their details to the DVLA. As it had been flagged up on the system as stolen the Police actually made an arrest and got a conviction. I had intended suing both the perp and the scrap metal dealer but as it turned out he was ordered to pay restitution by the court so I never got around to writing the post.

Ahhh I see  Thanks for that! Some REALLY good info in there though! I felt cheated at the end of the thread, like someone had just stolen th last 50 pages of a really good book :lol: |
