Heat gun til it bubbles up, then the surrounding bits get soft enough to just 'top up' the rest with the heat gun as you go, horrible job! Then thinners to get the residue off. What do you reckon it'll weigh now? Bet it's a good laugh! Not sure. But do want fibreglass boot and bonnet too 😂

What a curse word chore this was!! If you ever wanted to know how much of the loom you can cut out, and just have basic MOT stuff kept wired in.....thus is it Little bit of a tidy up, need some clips to hide the cables up under the metal beneath the windscreen Amazingly everything worked first time, and haven’t cut of anything major, I’ve made my own loom for the engine/ecu, so I know that works already Next job will be a small kit car heater for the windscreen, I have kept the fan/motor and the heater matrix/radiator part from the old dash, so might try make something small out of that possibly and new steering wheel too coz this one is knackered now 😂

By the end of it, I might as well just bolt a seat to the engine

It is only meant to be allowable for rally cars with obviously missing airbag paraphernalia If it were me, I would take the bulb out and replace the steering wheel with one that isn't obviously missing its airbag

Dyno time! The chap said he wasn’t willing to go past 6000 or to push it hard, as it hadn’t been run in enough from being built with different pistons and new rings Said to get a few 100 miles on it and come back, confident there’s more to get out of it. The servo motor for the itbs packed up !!! So no idea if it would make a difference 😂 So at least it’s safe to drive now, definitely feels quicker 😮😮😮 Fuel map Spark

Excellent work! Sounds awesome.
Shame about the servo going as I was interested in seeing if it made any difference.

Lovely project pork so well done man. While I wouldn't be wild about the completely stripped out interior, I get the look that you are going for and it's working! Great sound on the Dyno too. Any further plans? CFD

only 6k?? pah, just coming on song you can see the torque is only just starting to drop. that really would have been well run in by the time you were half way through mapping the lower rpm sites and ready to take all you could throw at it up top.
