My boss has a BMW 840 and had the calipers refurbed by a company who’s name is the same as an iconic 80’s darts game show. They came back and seem to be no better and a lot of other places he has contacted won’t take them on for some reason?
Can any fellow RR’s, BMW nuts point me in the right direction?

probably just a brembo gt caliper, Ben at Godspeed brakes almost does these in his sleep.
he's done a few sets for my mates with no issues at all proper shiny and only use SS pistons unless they have aluminium pistons originally which tend to fare off much better than steel.

I'm hoping you don't mean Big Redd!
That was who I was going to recommend.
I can see to an extent why others won't touch them, but what they don't know...

I know they're the go-to in that it's the only refurb company I can think of, and they were very good with a friend of mine's, turnaround in only 3/4 days and free pickup, re-delivery and fixing with 2 day turnaround when there was a small problem with a couple of them...

Big Redd have always been good whenever I have sent calipers to them.

The OP kept the name of the refurbers he used quite quiet, which I can appreciate. Searching for a brake refurbishers of the same "Dart Show" name didn't turn up much except a motorfactor, hence why I was playing it cool, and not trying not to name anyone. I've used Big Redd as have others with great results! I almost used them for the Mercedes and I may well do for the front brake calipers.
