that is cheap. I suspect a misprint even. I was very disappointed when younger that the superb A30 I rang about was £750 not £75.

Super cheap! I'd say they were very much 'retro', even though they ran to 96. I would love a turbo diesel one to slog around in.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say I wouldn't say it was much of a bargain. £200 on a new exhaust and fairly recent MOT so why sell it cheap if it only wants a rad? Last time I looked these weren't either highly popular or doing big money either. Please note no offence intended to anyone who owns one by the way.

Agree, its quite amazing, people are often put off big old barges with big running cost, but I'd have a go Old 5 series look ace, oh dear another crazy idea for me.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

They usually seem to be £600-£750 round here for something worth having still. Theres £300ish ones but they would be a 518 auto in white with cloth and manual windows, or some skuffed up and thrashed 520 with a few chav mods.

got offered a 525 for 250 last week, scuffed rear door and wheel arch but taxed and tested, damage easily ignorable, luxo barges getting cheaper round here, i think its a combination of the house prices going through the roof and more "monied" individuals moving in, combined with us being close ish to east london where cheap bangers are all over the place, so the bigger more complex stuff has no value at all any more.
Of course i'll regret not buying it when my rusty merc wont start or something important falls off it in the rain.

I'd go and have a look, make sure the old bint's not run it out of water and done the headgasket, then offer her £200 for it, terry tibbs style....
BUT the mrs has only just got over me buying the scirocco. So it's probably best for my long term health if I don't.
EDIT: Plus this screams dealer to me...

the rad is most of the times only a symptom of the problem.. not the causing.
but if you don't mind changing a headgasket..

A 15 year old BM with heat problems? Sounds bang on the money, really - if not a bit steep.
As mentioned, I've never seen any of these fetch big money.
There are 25 under 500 quid on eBay. I rest my case...
