So this is the toss up between the vehicles I want to tow my Sprite 400 caravan (once its done). Either one I want to style to compliment the caravan with lows and wheels (bandies no doubt). I'm torn between the practicality of being able to use a Sharan as a van and fit a scooter in it. And the styling of the Cruiser.

Are you fitted banded & lows on the caravan? VW would suit the same style banded wheels & lows. Make it a matching pair.

Cruiser for me, of course I would say that, I've had two and would have another any time. The 2.2 diesel is a Merc engine and has loads of torque.

I'd rather chop my legs off at the knees and walk everywhere on the bloody stumps than either of those.

I feel like I'm supposed to dislike PT cruisers, but I really like them. I used to work in a Chrysler garage and drove them quite a bit. I only ever knew of one that seemed to have one problem after another, the rest were pretty good, but if I really needed the practicality of a Sharan, id go for the Sharan, but I bought a Cube so you might as well ignore all that..

I'd imagine there isn't that much space in the back of the chrysler as the body leans into the car, a bit like the Nissan juke or is it quashqai.

It had styling that missed quirky and went straight to just plain awful. It also had poor visibility, the high front wings made parking a total pain in the *** and worst of all, as you say, the lack of interior space was ridiculous given the size of car. It was utterly useless as a family car, despite being the size of a Ford Focus. The boot was tiny and oddly shaped and the rear seat was more cramped than a Kia Picanto. It was also gutless, I was annoyed as I'd expected a Vauxhall Astra/Ford Focus. Pure form over function, garbage.

All the cruisers above look good, because they don't have the endless curse-word lengths of stick on chrome tat on them like almost every single one you see on the road!
Don't we have a van conversion or two on here? Both by the same guy? They look good as well...

We had a PT cruiser for a while & it wasn't a bad car at all. Wouldn't set the world on fire, it was a 2 litre auto so quite underpowered, but did its job.
Only real reason it got moved on was it wasn't getting used as had bought the Honda.
I still have a hankering to get another but finding one that hasn't been driven through halfords and has every chrome effect add on stuck to it is getting harder as time passes. I liked the styling of the PT cruiser from the day I saw a freshly released one on the motorway all those years ago.
There is a Sprite 400 serving duties as a shed at my inlaws house. They bought it new in 1972. Doubt it will ever get used as a caravan again. Keep getting told how they used it ever year for holidays & my other half has a lot of memories of helping put the awning up.
