Bit of a cheeky question but does anyone travel to Inverness from the south regularly? I'm going to bid on a set of wheels but they guy wants £90 postage. If the wheels could end up in the Skelmersdale area I could pick them up through work. Any ideas or should I just cough up the courier fees?

For 5 wheels with tyres? that cheap? Should be no problem unless they are either 4x4 wheels and tyres or unless Inverness is classed as the highlands (and incurs an extra charge). Have a look on ebay there are loads of parcel deliveries places and quite a few that specialise in wheels and tyres, they normally use DHL or parcelforce etc. The last ones I arranged collection of cost me £24 for four wheels and tyres. |

I used Lynx couriers - advertise on Ebay. £29 for four wheels and tyres from Newcastle to Stamford. Absolutely no problems and wheels arrived the next day. I recommend!
