Unfortunately I've lost my job of over 11 years, which has amongst other things given me a problem regarding the storage of my rather large collection of Skodas! All but one are now rehomed/stored, but I'm left with this Rapid, which I bought a few weeks ago to save it from being banger raced.....which was the previous owners intention. [No offence intended to any banger racers reading this BTW!]
The official Skoda name for it's erm...."colour" is Mushroom!! ;D
Pogweasel has shown an interest, so I'll give him first offer...but if he decides it's not for him, then here are some pics, and a link to the thread I started after I'd bought it.

I bought it for £150 as a non runner. I got it to run yesterday...all that was wrong was the fuel pipe from tank to pump was perished, therefore the pump was sucking air rather than fuel from the tank. Obviously I've replaced that. It doesn't have the original engine..it's a 120 engine, that actually goes pretty well with it's Weber carb and sporty sounding Ashley exhaust! Otherwise it's just as I bought it. It has no MOT or tax...and being an old car will most likely need some thing or other to get an MOT, but it's not a total basket case.
Basically I'd like to get my £150 back...but my priority as a very obsessive Skoda fan is to make sure this rare car is saved and not scrapped/bangered. This car is ideal for modifying,as it's already been played with a little.
