My 'Rabid' has got far too much fresh air betwixt wheel and arch. Needs to be less. Not a fan of cut springs, esp with the grief I give cars over crappy tarmac, so want something to go LOW! (the lower the better). Anyone got owt or know where I can get some.

-35/40 ain't low! SM project bottle rocket had a set of AVO shocks and springs - for a 5/4 (that's inches!) drop. According to the SM article (suspension instalment July '95 issue) they were supplied by Motech - the number given is 01604 30918...I'm not sure if this is the same company, but it seems likely: www.motechdirect.co.uk

More searching has revealed that www.avouk.com list the Skoda in their catalogue...not quite the SM drop though!

have you got anywhere near you that makes springs? theres a few round here..... can specify your own drop / spring rates then. I don't think they're that much more expensive than off the shelf springs either

There's Scanda Springs across in Buntingford if you want to get some custom coils made Pog. Very helpful people.

40mm is only just over 1.5"! It took a lot more than 35mm to get down here, in fact I'd guess it was closer to (in mm just for you youngsters) about 70mm: There's alway hydraulics of course!:
