Well, after six of months of owning my Skoda Favorit, my loyal steed is begining to unfortuantly give up the ghost. Buggered electrics and a blown exhaust, not to mention creaky suspension do not make a comfortable daily driver, so its time for it to go. So that means I need a new runaround. Only got a budget of around £250-£300 so I'm not expecting anything out of this world, I'm realistic. So yeah, what you got? Something RWD would be nice and possibly Japanese, but I'm likely to be just dreaming on my budget.
P.S. If anyone wants the Favorit they can take it once I get something else. The body is solid atleast and the engine goes well. Got some t&t too.

As ever the loyal sapph is available, bit more than your budget though, but is a fair intro to RWD, quite economical for a comfy car too. it must go this month as insurance is up and could do with teh £££'s I'd love to see someone pimp it and even do ZVH or summat if poss!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

How much would you be looking for? Definately considering RWD though.

Found pictures after doing a search. How easy would it be to find new doors? I take it these are basically Cortinas with a different shell, so would this make Ford engine conversions a doddle?
Whereabouts are you?

I may be selling my newly acquired Mercedes 190 2.0 - I just can't get on with non-v8s! lol I'll be after £300 for it (RWD) and it's got 5 months test. Pm me if you want more info! I'm in the East Midlands.

If the favorit is on a carb then it could be raced if it doesnt find a new home.......better than scrapping? I know of somone who is after a smallish car for "bomber" racing.
...Sorry, ill get my coat.
