Might be a bit off topic, but matt black is a very RR thing. I salute the owners of these two cars for having the balls to take their 200k supercars (only 80 of the merc were made) and give them a coat of hammerite's finest Particularly suitable plate on the benz, i thunk Feel free to add any other totally unsuitable (to the un-initiated) paintjobs on rather expensive cars. The couple of camo 911's spring to mind as does that gumball phantom. although i find the phantom a bit naff as someone has done that just for the competition.

Supercars in satin ALWAYS remind me of Batman....cant help it!
Satin black on a retro = good but way familiar
Satin black on super = someones 'got it' and has balls of steel

i don't really see it as a ballsey move, if u can afford a super car then u can afford 2k to have it painted then if u wanna sell it u should be able to aford another 2k to put it back to standard if nessesary.
still think they're cool tho

Didn't really mean balls in the fiscal sense - more that i'm sure it's seen as terribly unfashionable by the dahlings of social elite, and i'm glad there's people around who just don't care.

That looks so right it hurts! : I'm making that my desktop background. I've just suggested to the missus that we respray our dark green E34 5 series BMW Satin Black. She didn't say anything but the face was not a look of enthusiastic approval.
