Being a music festival veteran, it was refreshing to not be surrounded by morons Thats about the 3rd nail on head comment you've made today Johnny. Was so nice to be able to leave everything in the tent, with the door open, and not worry that stuff would get nicked. Matt

Very true Matt, I was surprised by the amount of stuff people left out and about though. Everyone must remember that the public could sneak in easily so beware.

I always keep all my stuff out of site and the camper locked, thats my the thermo mats were up all weekend until the show, regardless of how nice the people are on site you never know every person there and the public have free rein of the site as well, better safe than sorry. Saying that there was always a few people around our camp most of the time and the gate was manned ;D

The Bicycle belongs to Thorsten (Totti) from the Busraser Crew. Last time when we were at Santa Pod, he also had it parked in front of the camp like that, and then later I saw a bunch of drunken Stella drinking guys ride it next to the strip on the bank. I showed Thorsten and he and Michael went off after it. Nice guys as they are, they did not kick in the thiefs teeth, just gently took it back. It goes to shows and is sort of communal property. There is an answer further up that the colour on the Volvo is know as Brungrau I think, sort of brown grey.... which it seems is a truck colour. Aaah, I reckognize that! Every boy's dream from way back in early 80's in USSR ladies and gentlemen! It's either a MINSK or DESNA or AIST - more or less the same bicycle under different names. Time to confess, comrades - who owns it? Where did you get it? BATTLE AXE !!! I gotta say this is my new favourite colour! What is that?

Matt "Stealthystyles", it was a pleasure meeting the three of you as well. Your missus is lovely and your dog had me having fun on my stomach in the carpark.... what more can I say.

Righto... seeing as the other thankyou thread I posted my thanks in sunk without a trace Ill copy and paste in here heh..... Thanks to everyone for being very friendly, I was a bit unsure about turning up to camp when I barely knew anyone there with the exception of BC, but everyone was very welcoming and it was awesome to finally match lots of faces to all the names on here. Far toooo many peoples names to write down here, and I'm sure Id only miss someone out, but you all know who you are It was quite amusing how many people said "Ah so you're Colonel K". In fact it was quite worrying LOL Although thanks for calling me Colonel and not Colon heh. As for the show, WOW. As usual, nuts selection of cars from all over the different scenes and styles, extremely friendly people happy to talk to random people like me. Seeing Scarys car in the metal was quite frankly staggering at how good it looks, the pictures didnt prepare me! BC.... cheers for the stickers and for putting your ear in to my motor to qwell my valvetrain paranoia! Its one of those things where you just start thinking "was it that loud before? I'm sure it wasnt..... errrrr" Big shout to Grunty as well (the man who can in the stickers thread) for making me some vinyl and posting it to me in time for the show. Recommended! And a random thankyou to a none showgoer..... RobinXR4i..... I was miserable saturday morning, completely demoralised and couldnt get out of bed, surfin the net, and your comment on my cars thread made me say "ah feck it, I'm gonna freaking get there!" Leapt out of bed, into town to get the bits I needed. Tried my best to plug the water leaks, fitted the vinyl, relowered it. Happy Days. Thanks to Hairnet for the secondhand ticket, and thanks to the (South West?) region for accepting me when I thought I was parking in my 'adopted' North East region LOL Geography never was my strong point. Thanks to the Viva guys for allowing us to boil up a brew when I ran out of gas, although Mr Nightmare was also on hand with hot water. But yeah, tooo many thanks to say! And well done Hotwire for another great show! Roll on RR09!

fantastic times loads of thankyous for everyone, I'll list them in another thread, but you're all heros, so great to meet all the great peeps from here no pics from me yet as the computer is nearly dead and won't even read the memory card entirely (it is well over a gig's worth of pics though ;D). as for the vovlo colour As for the colour of this, it's a RAL tone.. Brungrau I think, a German truck colour chosen because it's meant to be more resistant to stone chips and damage. I reckon your right, I got an RAL colour chart last week if it is grungrau then its RAL8000. and you can get any paint mixed in RAL, not just transport poly/truck coat poly plus saw bryn about, but he's such a legend its hard to say hi. maybe the meeting alice cooper scene in waynes world would be more appropriate- "I'm not worthy!" and some fappin' awesome pictures floating about, really enjoying the ones that make me look like a plank ;D
