I Like how this is going man As for wheels, I reckon polished lip, black centre and polished inside the 'vents'. That or get them powdercoated white. Oh, and you're gonna need to be Popeye to steer with wheels that wide at the front!!!

Glad the wheels got there intact/undented. Hopefully all the hosepipe and card was worth it?? Sorry the courier was a PITA! The main thing is that they got there ;D They look so cool on the car. I too vote for polished lips/rims but with gold centres. Here are a couple of random shots of red cars with that combo - looks fappin ace if you ask me

As for tyres, 165/55/14's give a nice look on 7" rims. £47 each£67 each....but if you're fitting wider arches then maybe you'll want something more like a 185/50/14 although they are more money! 195/45/14 gives you more choice of tyres.....options options.... All the above tyres are within a few mm radius of each other so it all comes down to how wide you want to go?? With wide arches, I'd say something like the 195's would look uber. ;D

I am loving the gold. Not been much of a gold wheel fan since a small spurt of wanting a WRX but sort of grew out of the Impreza phase a while ago with gold wheels included in it. But the do look awesome on red cars i'd have to admit. Black with polished lip is almost definately the way but my Sera has that...hmmm The wheels arrived great cheers bud. The hose idea was genius!!! Cheers for the tyre suggestions too Thanks for your kind comments More to come

Okidokio Car is back together (or at least on four wheel and running) will be going into the garage to do some stuff that I ran out of talent with including some welding too hopefully. Thanks for the offers of welding to the chap on here but I need someone local as I have no MOT to drive too far so gonna get my local grease monkeys to do it. Hopefully will have the Dat up and running with lots of new bits (although some retro style primer and odd bits for a while) very soon

Lets clear up car terms: "Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Moody shot taken outside Carl's gaff Problems afoot like before are, go wider wheels, rake arches and black trims.... Or repair scabby drivers rear arch and stay with stag wheels.... Ideas are to go with the arches and go for a setup of alloys like this... AAHHHHHHHHHHH CAN'T DECIDE!!!!!
