Whats the best way of getting rid of an old interior? Can't see the local council tip wearing it,or a breakers wanting it. Anyone had this dilemma?

I've taken a interior to the local dump in Witley with no probs , only up the road from you , although i usually put them in a old scrap car and weigh them in .

I generally offer it free on the owners website or where ever people with that type of car will see it, then after there is no interest I take it to the local council tip. Then I get the various owners of that type of car moaning that I've tipped a "rare" interior.

your local tip should have a bin for 'non recycleable' stuff. I cut up and disposed of an entire VW van down my local tip over the course of a few weekends

They have two big skips one for rims with tyres, one for just tyres.

My mum took my old seats to the dump as I left them in the utility room in her house for about 6 months. They took them no problem apparently, lol.

The blokes who work in my local tip (Sinderland Road Trafford NFTW) wouldn't give you the steam off their curse word.
They wouldn't let me drive my mate's van in there to get rid of a washing machine. Ohhhhh no. We had drag it in from the outside and then get it over a 6 foot ledge. Wouldn't even let us leave it on the side.
To really the take the michael, they weren't even doing anything. One was sweeping up (in a tip - what exactly's the point of that???!!) and told us 'you're lucky you can leave it here - normally you'd have to go to Moston'.
Utter, utter jobsworth bell ends. And they've got a container full of the stuff they've pulled out of the heap, rotten feral little curse word.

Chucked some knackered BMW ones into the metal skip while they were hiding in their hut from the rain a few weeks ago. Didn't know if they'd take them into the general waste and they did have some metal in them, lol.
The tyre skip there is a godsend too. :-)

Cheers guys.Guess I'll give Witley tip a go. As for the interior, its a knackered cloth one from a Scorpio, that I replaced with a leather one,so I can't see anyone clamouring to have it ;D

Surely no problem there? I have to say my local tip is spot on. They take pretty much anything aslong as you can get under the height restriction but no tyres and no gas bottles, although they take fridges. No idea how they run the place though.
