things is most of the european & J stuff of the 70's & early 80's was scrapped due to rot repairs & parts being to expensive compared to the home grown stuff.
I can recall lots of 100a's,120y's,lancias,reno's etc with major rot in the late 70's, with the likes of citreons, big renos etc being seen as to complicated /expensive to repair.
while the 80's stuff yugo's,ladas,colts,dacia's etc in the early 90's where seen as the 1st of the worthless & disposeable.
my mate gets loads of kia's,proton's, deawoo's,nissan's, etc, now as there seen as disposeable as a microwave,the condition of some would amaze you but no one is interested in them, most would still give years of service, so are just scrapped.
