Prefer the rugged Army look version. The family version looks some how unfinished/parts bin art attack! How long have they been around? The interior shot reminds me of late 80's Merc van brochures n stuff.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Production started in 1995 apparently reanimation. One of those would be the perfect tow car/family wagon though, I love them, its just the prices that I don't like

Is that a tape unit in the box between the seats? Presumably that covers the engine. so thats a cylinder head unit. can you go into a Toyota dealer and tick an option box for the rocket launchers?

Well I think the engine is where you'd expect, under the bonnet, and the bit where the stereo is is the transmission tunnel. This is because the transmission is mounted high up to avoid getting caught on rocks. Also according to popuptoaster it has portal axles, which means the diffs and axles are above the hubs and there are gears on the hubs that transfer the power from the axles to the hubs instead of directly to the hubs. Thats if I remember it right, and my memory is shocking ;D
