Yeah I'm really swaying towards the p100 at the minute i dunno if its just a case of i wish i could keep them both but cant really afford it... like everyboy says though if i choose the p100 and think ive made a mistake its not that hard to get another e30 but if i do it the other way round i will always be thinking i wish i had the p100 and probably wouldnt get chance to own another like it. Oh and before anybody else says it the vento isnt going anywhere i have no doubts about that, i love it and it does 55mpg easilyyy which is perfect for my 350+ miles a week for work. Heres a pic or 2 of it anyway because pics are cool.....

Which one will you get another chance to own? Sums it up perfectly. This is why I keep my old shitter of a Celeste around. I'm neither a Ford man or a E30 type, but I'd have the P100 over the E30. Plus it has the Cosworth V6, which was a silk purse from a sow's ear if ever there was one.

P100. no question. loads of E30s around, but not many properly well done 24v p100s, it's surely faster than the e30, will be more fun nad more useful, plus those cosworth 24vs are really lovely

Wow....just wow. Anyway its got to be the Sierra Pick-up. Plenty of E30s about if you think you made the wrong decision but when do you see another P100? And nothing ventured nothing gained..... give it a go

I was VERY tempted by that P100 when it came up for sale but it's about £500 out of my price range! Go for it!

What are the wheels on the P100?
Personally, I'd go with the E30, but that's because I still regret selling my iS years ago!

What are the wheels on the P100? Personally, I'd go with the E30, but that's because I still regret selling my iS years ago! Granada cosworth wheels, 5x112 with the Granada stuff, a very attractive stud pattern considering the wheel choice it gives me.... Thanks for all the persuasion guys at the moment its p100 but I know as soon as I take the cover off the e30 again my heart will sink, i'll give it till the end of this year for some more persuasive words from everybody on what to keep then make my decision I think.

Is it too late to vote for the E30? I think it probably is. Personally I'd sell the Vento in a heartbeat, but of the choices given, I'd keep the E30 as it's a known quantity and much easier to sort when/if it goes wrong. Plus, I've never been fond of Fords in general (apart from one or two models, of which the P100 isn't one!). Its just too curvy for me. I like boxes.

I don't like P100s... Even that one. I'd keep the E30.

The E30 should be where it belongs, the scrap yard! If ever there was a car that signalled the downfall of a Marque, thats the one! There awful, and everything produced since is awful... You know the P100 makes sense, do it!

Only thing to add is maybe the E30 be more nimble and smaller/tighter. however given the choice between those two particular exact vehicles it'd be P100 defo, and I do like smaller cars, so thats saying summat (but i do own a sierra) the P100 should be worth it if it has quality mods. have a test drive.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
