Cool, I have some of them in my Bucket O' Parts waiting to be fitted at some point. Any ideas on the legalities? Pretty sure they will look very cool!

Tbh i though they'll look a bit tacky, but they look great! Retro, and fit the style of the car.

oooh i used to have some GTS light covers, those are nicely in keeping with the era and style of car. Hope you don't mind pulling over/using highbeams when it gets dark though subscribed!

just got back into this thread. Shame about the 305 but at the end of the day a V8 Camaro is a V8 Camaro. Front covers look ACE! I'm still deciding if I like the back ones so much. With the silver / black colour way they look good IMO. Is it the release bearing making the noise or a shaft bearing in the box?

Alistair, I'm sure its the release bearing as it promptly shuts up when I put the clutch in. Never experienced a symptom like that which wasnt a release bearing but there is always a first time for everything!
In other news.. Wheels are now bought!

cool and cool. Release bearing is easier to do than a shaft bearing. I had it in mind that it only whined in 2nd.

Nah, it whines on idle too, and it is present in first, just not as loud for some reason...

The light covers are sweet! Goes well together with the silver paintjob.

Cheers! Not been a lot of progress as yet. Still working on my AW11 at the moment so the Camaro is on the back burner till the other one is on the road. Hasnt stopped me buying things though! Such as these: 15x7 and 15x8. Any clues on what tyre sizes i should be looking for? Big bulbous muscle car tyres...

Aww, I dreamed of getting some Cragars for long enough before I decided I couldn't afford them. Your car will look awesome with them on.

Nice. I would say 235 or 255 at the front and 255 or 275 at the back.
Mine runs 255/50x15s on all 4 corners on 7x15s They rub a little when reversing on full lock. I think its the plastic wheel arch liners.
I'm going up to a 255/60 on my rears shortly. rubber rake FTW

The tyres on it at the moment are 255/60 on the rear and 225/60 on the front. Think these could transfer over? Oh, and this arrived...

The tyres on it at the moment are 255/60 on the rear and 225/60 on the front. Think these could transfer over? Put the 255's on the front, and get some 285's for the rear, for some proper bulge 225 on 7j is almost square, even if they're bfg's or the likes. Cragars for the win ;D
