I was over at Brooklands last weekend for my first motorsport hit of the season, took the family over too so it was 3.5 month old Lilys first taste of racing, well winter trials ;D The paddock is set up in the area in front of the club house, if its pre war its in. The award for coolest radiator mascot goes to this MG with a Schneider Trophy Supermarine Spitfire style plane. At the foot of the test hill, 1:8 rising to 1:4 at the top made for slow ascents. The sun was shining all day! I managed to stagger up the grass path alongside the hill whilst pushing the pram, tiring but it gave us this great view off the members bridge. ;D

Love those Brescia's. And a friend had a Morgan. Fab car to drive! I used to go to 3 or 4 VSCC meetings a year with my grandfather when I was growing up. Cadwell Park remains my favourite english race track and one I'm hoping to visit again.
I might have to nip down to Curborough again whenever their next meet there is.
Great photos'!
Chris!

These guys are orsums. The Brescia and the sidewards Frazer-Nash were also at the Winter Tests that took place last month. It was bloody freezing and ice was everywhere and they were still hooning about! Report due in a certain weekly classic paper (no, the Buyer one) next week.
So good to see older cars being driven in a suitable manner! Great shots above.

Awesome pics, I'd love some old pre war tin like that! Any of those I'd be happy with

Remember the days when sex was safe and motorsport was dangerous. Vintage bling always attracts pussy.
