I'm getting well into this The top two from Poundland for £1.50 each, and the bottom three from The Entertainer, at £2.40 each but also 3 for 2. Next newbie question...why do some models have long cards and some have short cards? Is there a logic to it?

I'm new to Hot Wheels. What do ?/250 and ?/10 mean on the card?

I have a casual look at the diecasts when I'm shopping, but hadn't seen anything to really tempt me. But I was in Poundland on Friday, could only find one thing that I needed, and thought 'Well, I can't pay £1.25 on my debit card...', when I spotted the Hot Wheels. So I had a rummage, and found these. The Miura is of course one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and I've had a hankering for a Space Cruiser since they were new, I absolutely love them.

I only remember my Dad having to hire a car twice in those days, both Mk2 Escorts. The first was a blue one from Kenning, and the second was a yellow one which I'm fairly certain was from Hertz. Certainly when he needed a van for us to move house, that was Kenning.

I have been coveting this set since I got my Lego Quattro a couple of years back.

So I just popped over to FB to ask, and he's posted earlier today that there's been a family bereavement, so I'll leave it for a little while.

Compare it to the current Mini. Big lights, oval grille, secondary lights at the bottom corners.

Even with a generous application of man maths, the sums don't quite add up. Ah well, maybe next time.

Jonny69 I've seen a pic on Flickr that suggests it's lived around Twickenham, does that sound about right? Good news if it was a daily, though, even if it was three years ago.

I need to do the sums (what James May calls 'man maths')! It just seems very cheap compared to any other one that I've seen over the last few years. The only one on eBay at the moment is twice as much.

There's a 1967 Vauxhall Viscount on Car & Classic: www.carandclassic.com/car/C1506746One owner, and there's nothing horrible lurking in the MOT history. It was featured in Classic and Sportscar in 2017, about a year before the last MOT. But it seems very cheap, admittedly it's not tip-top, and it makes me wonder if something has gone terribly wrong with it. Is it a well-known car on the scene? I've seen a few photos of it at other shows, just wondered if anyone knows if there's more to it.

So after yet more aggravation, the cause was finally tracked down to a hairline crack in the head. New head, new gaskets, and been absolutely fine for a couple of months now.

Just scored a MASSIVE charity shop bargain. Everything you can see here, plus a storage box, for thirty quid! It's all genuine Lego as far as I can tell. Bottom right are Speed Champions Mustang and Camaro, which would have been fifteen quid each when they were new, so effectively the rest was free!

Spotted some Sembo Block sets at two for fifteen quid. First up is a yellow Frearri The other one is interesting, because as far as I know, the well-known Danish brand have never produced this car, the Lancia Stratos Gp5 Turbo. Sorry, Lanaic! In the famous Atliaila livery...
