I'm considering a change from the trusty Xantia. Possibly interested in an Alfa 156. Must be an estate car with the 2.4 diesel engine. Manual or auto considered. Any colour or spec considered although I do like leather and all the toys If you have one for sale or know of any feel free to PM me. I don't mind a bargain needing a bit of work but the Xantia body and paint is really tidy for its year so I'm not interested in anything that's dented, rusty or accident damaged.

I have a Mercedes stainless system on eBay at the moment. I don't think many people would give stainless away though as it's worth too much as scrap!

Due to circumstances beyond my control I'm having to break my Mercedes W116 450 SEL 6.9 for spares.
I've sold the diff already but lots of other parts are available. I also have lots of new and used W116 parts for sale. The engine I've never had running as the fuel distributor was removed by the previous owner for his other 6.9.
Currently the engine, gearbox and all suspension parts are available as well as new inner and outer sill for the driver's side, some new bumper chrome and a few other bits and pieces. I'll hopefully be able to add some pictures and detail soon.

For sale Used Mercedes W126 exhaust centre section. For W126 V8 models such as the 420 and 500 SE (does not fit SEL models).
Made by Ernst. Used for only one year and stored inside since so in excellent condition. Bought as I was told it was from an SEL but it wasn't so I didn't use it. £200 It's in Cumbria.
Picture to follow shortly as I don't have one on this PC.
Coming soon a major clear out of my storage. Only Mercedes or Fiat parts as far as I can remember. Probably going to break my W116 6.9 so there will be Mercedes W116 and W126 parts as well as parts for the Fiat 131, 132 and Argenta.

I know it's a long shot but any info appreciated.

I often find that 'weld thru' primer isn't actually that weld through Perhaps try welding the steel bare and adding the weld thru as a primer afterwards.

More progress: Inner front membrane reinstated: Front 'hybrid' door panels fitted Look you've saved all these bits Wiring loom was modified to loose the airbag wiring that I don't need: Wiring loom laid (passenger side shown): 'New' driver's side seat fitted: Both front seats fitted: I tried the seat heaters on the way home. Not sure if they work or not. The driver's side possibly, couldn't seem to get anything from the passenger side though. I got a new rear wiper arm from the scrappy (very lucky-they now have only one series 1 Xantia in  So I now have a working rear washer for the first time in the 2 and a half years I have owned the car

Great buy! They are superb cars. Comfortable, great to drive, economical and they have a superb load carrying ability (helped by the self levelling).
Sooo much better than a Maestro!
