I messaged the seller he confirmed the oil leak. I asked where from. The answer came there none.
Otherwise great condition. Ticks most if not all boxes
I don’t mind the idea of a straight forward shogun or pathfinder but something about the pick up seems more user friendly and with a 4x4 you’re limited to the height of the roof.
The crux of it is my rotarvator it’s big and heavy to lift

It’s under budget, it’s leather, modern... What’s wrong with it

I really need to test drive some trucks now. Are there truck dealerships? Or is it just what the dealer happens to have?

I will have to get in touch with the local tip and see.
I’m still none the wiser on which pick up to get

I would love a Land Rover or military type vehicle. However Mrs Bear wouldn’t approve.
She will occasionally drive it so needs to be modern and easy to drive

I do like the nissan navara. It’s looks the part, the Nissan diesels seem to be indestructible. But don’t they snap in half?
In terms of the local tip I’ve seen people with vans, 4x4s pick up. I think generally anything without logos on

I’d rather have 4wd. I sometimes liberate wood from nearby woodlands.
I live near Peterborough so hopefully not going to be restricted by any eu Mumbo jumbo

Afternoon all
After many years abusing my wife’s Honda Civic with tip runs and allotmenting we’ve come to the conclusion I need something a bit more practical.
Mrs Bear has given me the green light to buy a pick up truck. As you can imagine there are conditions to the purchase;
Must be modern Must not be curse word
So I’ve compiled a short list;
Mitsubishi L200 Isuzu dmax Toyota hilux Ford ranger
I’ve got a maximum of £4 to spend
If anyone could suggest any others or perhaps there are disadvantages to some and benefits of others

Škoda Felicia Fun is the nearest I can think of in the UK market, but that's only half way to what you want I think. This ticks a lot of boxes. There’s even one on eBay at the moment

I’d then have to store the trailer. My garage is rammed already. So a trailer being a simple solution gives me a new problem

Is there such a thing?
I’m pondering a new vehicle. I love my Audi 80 but it’s no good to throw things in for a tip run, or my allotment so I’m co side ring something like a pick up.
Only thing is I love having the roof down and having sun on my face.
Other than a land rover or a Jeep Wrangler I can’t think of anything

How has this not sold, it's a beauty!
If my Audi 80 fails it's MOT massively I may have to grab this bargain.

I've owed the car for 3 years, It's been fine up until I started making very short journeys. Now I know what can happen I can monitor it regularly.
It's such a relief to finally get to the bottom of the problem.

That's the one, solid pipe and it's a pain in the the clear once solidly stuff full of whatever the oily mayo mix is. This would possible explain all the oil thats leaking from the sump seal. Or it could me the seal is knackered too.

It's bizarre, I change the oil every year. So maybe this is a problem that's been building for a while?
Hopefully put it back together this week if I get some time

The saga continues This was the crank case breather. The tube was blocked solid.Spent a long time pushing solid bits of curse word out and then giving it a good clean.
