Well it has been a while since I've updated anything on here! The car is going well, nothing major to report, the rad sprang a leak so it now has a nice aluminium setup in there... Fitted a higher temp stat to try and make it run hotter, it still runs super cool! Mate has suggested messing with the timing, might take a look at that, but it runs so sweet as is! Just paid up to take the Mav around Goodwood full circuit at the RetroRides weekender, so I'm super looking forward to that! It won't be a full trash it session, it isn't that sort of car, but it will be a spirited drive and a big tick off the bucket list! Can't wait! For anyone heading to the event, be cool to meet some forum goers in real life! Little snap from a recent drive out to Caffeine & Machine...

Yeah better to be safe than sorry with those sorts of things! Especially is the suspension has the ability to drop to the floor in the event of a failure!
The truck chap is based just outside of Milton Keynes, he goes under 'ajkperformance14' on ebay. Brings a lot of stuff in for films so often what's in his yard never makes it to ebay, or take a long time to turn up depending on if it is rented or sold for filming and so on..

Very cool, i'd never really considered the risk of a bag blowing out, makes perfect sense to have a contingency plan if that ever does happen! Are bags considered as a serviceable item? Swap out every couple of years? That tow rig is incredible! There is a guy close to me who brings in loads of US trucks, mainly big stuff, quite a few COEs and the likes. Last time I was up his yard I absolutely fell in love with this... Never knew this existed and oh what a thing it would be slammed into the ground and with a little truck bed on the back.

ahh yes, that is one rowdy looking machine!!!
Love the look of the blower, if I ever manage to get my hands on a 31 Coupe (dream car) I'd be tempted to pull the running gear from my F150 and have a blown 351 in and around the under bonnet area haha

You can't plonk the blower on top of the motor and NOT drop the motor into the engine bay for photos. It's illegal... or something.

Absolutely love the work you have done with adding those box sections in, that looks fantastic and will do no wonders for the structure.
Looks dead smart!

Very cool! Rather amusing to hear that there are cars hidden all over the place haha I'm almost scared to ask, but which wagon are you thinking on rehoming? You say amusing, I say terrifying! Trying to keep all my stories straight In all seriousness though, she knows about three of the project cars, plus my 2002 CROWN Vic, my 1994 Jeep and my 1980 Vespa.
The wagon that will be moving along is the 1973 Country Squire. I really hope that it ends up with the chap who is supposed to be taking it as he is the absolutely perfect new owner. If that falls through I will post here and the car will be available on the same terms and at the same price... which is Free. I will even drop it at a local shippers or the port of Los Angeles or Long Beach. There are some considerations, but more on that anon.
OK, the fear has set in, I will now be checking this website daily. Very cool wagon.

Ah nice, yeah I can't see a manual rack being an issue. Even with some chonky tyres on the front of the Mav now, the manual steering is absolutely spot on to drive with!
Saw a sneak look at the new wheels on IG... Much like.
