In the late 90's and early 2000s, escort and fiesta rs models always had a cd behind the front grille, never understood that one

There we go, I'm having an issue with the oil pressure dropping lower than I'm happy with once it's up to temp so once I've got that sorted its usable, carbon roof skin and nice new paint on the cards a bit further down the line but I'm just going to enjoy it for a few years first.

Cheers all. Put the bonnet back on yesterday, when I started taking it apart the bonnet was the first thing I removed so its nice to see it looking relatively finished

I sold on the ones that I had from you as they would have stuck out of the arches too much once adaptors were in the mix. I did manage to find a set in 4x100, then another set for the centres and have had them powdercoated ready for tyres.

So, after taking the engine out 5 and a half years ago I thought it would make sense to get this thing back in one piece. A mate of mine has rebuilt the engine for me so I just need to get busy with the spanners. Be back on the road in the next couple of weeks

No photos unfortunately (or very fortunately now I think of it) Was the first of many mk1 golfs when I was 20, dodgy bodykit, paint that changed from purple to light blue depending on the angle you looked at it, big loud exhaust. It really was a pile, but I loved it to bits at the time.

Dragged out of the bush where it was resting for 10 years. Bought unseen a few years ago, its very rotten but I'll get on it once my red mk1 is back in one piece. Whereabout's was this? I think I may have owned it about 20 years ago. Edit: Yes, I did. Untitled by jack chevelle, on Flickr It's a barnfind too, as i bought it out of a barn in 1999/2000 near Holt in Norfolk for £50. Amazing, such a small world on this ace forum. I had it from Norfolk too so it hadn't gone too far. I'll dig out the paperwork (there is lots) as I've got details on a few previous owners

So I bought myself a tamiya car too and a couple of bodyshells so mine and the spawns cars look a little more suited to circuit racing at the local track, this is getting expensive already 😁

The lads been using his today, he's got a couple of 3300 batteries and they last loads longer than when I had tamiyas as a kid. The motor has jammed up on his car now which is a bit of a shame but I'll fetch a new one tomorrow from the local model shop. It'll get plenty of use, he's been digging suitable plywood out of the shed for making ramps this evening.

Between 35 and 40 In 20 years of driving, minimal compared to some folks here but over 20 of those were mk1 golfs so I'm sure I can be excused
