Evening RR'ers I'm in the rare position of actually having a few retro motors on the road, and I don't know which one to bring to the Gathering! Choices are: Porsche 928 - MOT & Tax Chevy Camaro Z28 - MOT & Tax Suzuki SJ/Jago Jeep - MOT & Tax Sierra XR4i - MOT Capri - No MOT or Tax The Suzuki/Jago is ruling itself out by being horrendously slow! I took the Camaro to the RR show, and it's pretty much stock... The 928 long distance scares me! The Sierra will do it no worries, but means lobbing some tax on it - however this may aid its for sale status. The Capri has no engine or gearbox in it - and I don't really have time to refit it and then MOT / Tax it! Oh, and the all important pics! 928 Camaro SJ/Jago Sierra Capri Help a brother out! ;D

I was sure I'd be saying Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro Camaro etc... except all those are cool. It's odd that I would like all of those diverse retros, but you must have good taste

I'd either go with the 928 for epic fun up the hill, or I'd put the Capri's wheels on the Sierra and roll that.
(EDIT: I mean 'drive' it. Don't literally 'roll' it, that would be stupid, dangerous and wasteful. I must curb this trendy jive-talk)

Yep, 928. For the noise and because at this point in time, they are the most ignored Porsche (although 914?....) but have so much potential.

That Camaro looks so sexy! Would love to see that one in real life!

I've seen a bunch of people overhauling a complete wreck in 60 minutes on TV, so why can't I do it in 3 weeks?

Buy a cheap K11 and get it there via EVERY level crossing, farmers gate/field, ditch and green lane en-route. Flat out. It's the only way...and you know it
