My brother has a Kreg Landrover 110 CSW, chassis is very good, body work reasonable but the door frames are rusted to nothing. i know they can be repaired but, as he uses it as a van anyway, what is involved in losing the second set of doors and fitting a secondhand van body from the front doors back? Is it a body off chassis job or is it a case of drilling the rivets that hold the existing sides on and attaching the van sides in their place? Does the roof have to come off? I'm trying to weigh up the work involved in mending two doors and changing the body as opposed to the work involved in mending four doors that have a suprisingly complicated framework?

fix the doors unless the rest of the chassis is so bad it needs the body off to repair the rot its just not worth it.

4 second hand doors would be the way forwards. Its worth way more as a CSW than as a van as well.

I'm assuming the 110's are the same as the older Series. To change my CSW Series 2a into a truck means removing the roof, rear side panels and rear tub.

CSW's are worth more than a 110 hardtop so he'd easilly get a straight swop with someone if he's really after a van.
The front bulkhead backwards is different so it's a complete rear body change. Chassis are also, AFAIK, different too. Not a problem going from CSW to van but more difficult the other way round. The reason is the CSW has the rear footwell area whereas the van has supports for the floor.
