Got some sweet rimZ off seth the other day and need to get a stretched, lo-pro set of tyres for em. They are 5.5 * 13. What tyre size would give a low profile, slightly stretched look for them? ![](http://usera.imagecave.com/sethke/Car_photos/Exactonwheels10.JPG) Those are the wheels. Want to polish the hell out of them, black inserts and use them on a certain slammed focus. But that's all ahead. First I need to know what tyre size i need. Fankooo.

Getting stretch over 5.5" is going to involve ridiculously narrow tyres (less than 155, I'd say), even if you did manage it, the car wouldn't be very good to drive. The obvious choice for the lo-pro look would be 175/50, but on a Focus all but the lowest of suspension (scraping) would look a bit silly I suspect and even the the top speed would probably be about 80mph!

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It is on coilovers at about -80mm's. Will give it a bosh and see what happens.

Sorry, dude, I think that will look gash.
14 or 15in steels banded out to 8in / 9in with OE trimZ on FTfocusW. That's what I wanna do. When the wife's not looking, OBV!

Will 13"s fit on a focus? I am sure the back would be no problem but I would have thought they would foul the callipers on the front. Nice wheel but not sure if they would suit the focus

165/60s are proably your best bet.
Do they do 165/45s? rings a bell!

Spacesavers are 13 and seeing how i no longer have ST brakes on mine it's not a problem. Tyres are though.

Purely on looks alone, what about 135/70s? I'm not saying that's safe on a car as big as a Focus, though. They're easily available and would give you stretch and a reasonably low sidewall.
Practically, 165/60s? Won't stretch though. :-\
