Not sure on this now, not that I don't want to go, i do!

But currently sitting under about 4-6 inches of snow with much more forecast, so for now i'm having to play it by ear.

If anything I might come in the modern not to risk the old girl on the roads.

We've been absolutely hammered with snow here overnight and it's still snowing, as it is up in the north west. I've just checked with the Met Office and it's now forecast to continue all day and part the way through tonight as well.

I don't think it's fair on those people who were planning to travel from far away to the Beach Party to ask them to do so in conditions like this.

THEREFORE I'M PROPOSING THAT WE POSTPONE BP7 UNTIL SUNDAY APRIL 7TH.

Your thoughts are welcome, however the final decision is down to me and will be made by lunchtime today.

I think its the only sensible thing Brian tbh. We was going to come down yesterday and camp the weekend but after looking at the forecast theres no way we could do that.
Postponing it til better weather would bring better numbers and be alot safer for travelling.

I completely agree. And having just seen the updated forecast (basically this snow's set to continue throughout today, only stopping in the early hours of tomorrow) it's definite.

This is brilliant news as I'm sat at home counting out 14000 keys and bagging them into 50's, and will probably be doing the same over the Easter weekend, this will be something good for me to focus on.

I do hope it won't be too hot in April though, I burn easily. ;D

The f**k-up fairy strikes again.

Unfortunately I'm double-booked that weekend!! We'd arranged to go out with friends in Brum that Saturday and stay over. Wifey only remembered last night, in fairness id got my diary mixed up too. No way I'm driving down to Brean on Sunday having had a skinful the night before.

No need for me to be there though so the revised date of April 7th stands.
