Irish TOYOTA COLLECTION..

thought is was about time i added some photos of all the cars we have, its a collection owned by myself and my father and my sister also has an interest..

this is the car that started it al off when i bought my 1983 toyota starlet, currently 28,000 miles, I'm the second owner.



next is Dad's 1980 ta40 carina deluxe facelift model,



next is a 5 door corolla ee80 hatchback which has been fully restored and the engine got ll new oil seals and valve seals and head gasket.






next is my ke70 estate which has gone from my every day car to being fully over hauled and modified..



next is a 1989 ep70 1 litre 5 speed, sitiing in factory standard form.





bought this off a local farmer using my heart not my head but it will be a long term project

few more pics of my own ta40 this is going to need huge work but starting to collect the bits i need now slowly..

the lovely green paint work after a wash became silver!!






next is my sister 1992 red 1.3 gl with 38,000 miles from new,
some fresh pics of the red GL with the ae92 gti alloys fitted,

another project, always liked these carinas, and the colour is what made me go for this one, early spec also which is quiet rare these days, 49,000 miles on the clock, 1.6 petrol,



and the latest addition is a 1979 toyota cressida,

This little box came with it, full of new old stock bulbs and fuses and tools, all in old boxes and as new! I had to change a brake bulb earlier and I got to do it with old tools and old new stock! It was a surreal moment, I was just smiling all day going through the car and stuff in the boot.

How did you find so many low mileage old Toyotas in Ireland?

I can't remember when I last saw a red rear plate.

its mostly down to luck, and just right place at the right time..

yea we like to have the little details correct on the cars like correct shage of grey on wheels and correct number plates for the era the car has come from..


we also organise a classic and old skool toyota run annually every august its on the 10th of august this year in Co. cork
