The Mazda unfortunately has white paint on the plastic bumpers where someone hasn't covered the car whilst painting near it...they generally look marked and worn.
I was wondering what i could attempt to use to get off the paint without discolouring the black plastic further and recondition them to look like new.
Thanks

Rattle can? Matt or satin or gloss. Should work wonders providing bumpers are tidy.

Halfrauds do black plastic bumper paint. They do the "prep" spray which you use to clean the plastic before painting it. I've used it on a few cars now and it always looks top notch.
And there ain't many things I buy from Halfrauds either.

Rather than paint the bumpers and have them forever flaking off etc, try a pressure washer to remove the paint.
If you have no luck, try something with a bit more guts like some white spirits on a rag left to soak for a little while, and a very stiff nylon bristled brush. Then move onto standard thinners, then maybe cellulose thinners.
White spirits should be fine on the plastic, but test the thinners on an inconspicuous area first.

To freshen up faded plastik bumpers I've used Owatrol Polytrol which worked quite well

Thinners will not harm the plastic, use a little at a time and rub gently, then after if the bumpers are faded and dull looking, use a heat gun, gently warm the bumper, in a motion like your spraying, the gun will need to be about10-20mm away from the bumper/trim you will see the plastic colour come back as if by magic making them look as good as new, but take your time and get it even or it will look patchy, once cooled down, use a bit of smooth peanut butter, to keep them staying as new looking

I think volksangel was using brake fluid to clean paint off trim in his thread.
