what to do with an old video camera?

Just been digging around at the back of a cupboard trying to find a car radio thats gone awol,I found a box with a video camera ,leads etc.Looks good nick and complete. Cant think where it came from or how long its been there!.....
If I cant find anything to make/do with it ,it'll end up back in the cupboard,or I'll flog it,so anyone got any ideas what I can use it for (sensible please!)Maybe a reversing camera on a van,or summat like that? Or maybe not worth the grief? Ideas on a postage stamp please!

UPDATE...just found an old laptop as well! Monitor for camera?

like what size is it?
is it one of those old ones that take a cassette.

Most have little to no value, so I wouldn't bank on it giving you a return. I'd stick it on Freecycle rather than bin it - you never know, someone may take it off your hands.
I'll stick up an image, as I can see this thread getting locked rather soon.

Off hand I can't think of a new use for it unless it's as a cheap CCTV setup, but how about recording things on it as is? I have friends who still occasionally use cine film cameras basically because they can and they like them although film is getting harder to find apparently.
