	not for a retro car but you guys know everything ! i have bought a 2007 Passat estate for my Granddad and he will be exporting it to france, for it to pass its french mot i need to swap the headlights over to left hand drive ones , i can buy new headlights here but the only way to order left hand drive ones seems to be prohibitively expensive. any suggestions ?

	Can you not get some from a breakers in France? Or www.ebay.de

	Simple answer is they aren't cheap - even in RHD format. Quick look shows eBay has LHD headlights but similar price for RHD so it's not as if there is a price hike for LHD. As you will find cars and parts are often even dearer in France plus secondhand parts not as easy to source. Google for "2007 Passat phare" and see you will pay even more in France ! Good luck. 	There are a few places around that specialise in LHD conversions of RHD vehicles it might be worth trying them google should be you friend. Otherwise try ebay in other european countries
