Having noticed numerous "For Sale" ads being dragged up recently, and the most latest one is over 4 years old, is there any way that an auto-close can be put on the Sales sections?
Anything that hasn't had a reply in 3 months is closed?

I was looking at an addon for the forum that will stop necro bumping, but I want to make sure I can apply it to only a couple of forums before I install it

Assuming similar to Threadomancy: linkIt is a generally annoying practice of bringing old forgotten threads back to life with little benefit to anyone...

I could be wrong, but I would think necro would mean dead and bumping is to move the thread to the top of the recent threads list by making a comment on it.

There seem to be a lot of sale threads being bumped, that are well over a year old. Now, don't get me wrong, most of us rarely throw anything and prefer to sell it on to benefit others, but taking a gamble 14/16 months down the line, with a member thats probably not logged in since the last post, is a little on the wishful side.

I haven't noticed it as being that much of an issue to be honest - not compared to the number of new posts or posts on up to date threads - quite a few of the ones i noticed were relevant updates after a long period away as well.
