What's your perfect movie car?

Not for the missiles or the gadgets, nor for its ability to do 500mph.

No, I'm talking about the cars in films that make you go "oof" and then leave you pondering the implications of building something similar. Or maybe you've seen a movie car that's inspired your build?

Why do I ask? Well, I was idly pondering this myself when I reached a conclusion. My perfect movie car has been, for a long time, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo from the opening scene of The Last and Dubious - Smoky Old Drift. It's prefect as far as I'm concerned. I love that it looks a bit beaten up yet packs a massive punch along with a host of mods and tweaks that are strictly business. The bead-rolled interor panels? Yum. The Cage? Beefy. The steels? Perfect choice.

Plus, there's the added, dirty bonus of the fact the car isn't a particularly desirable model, yet it's still be given the works.

Not only is it one of my favourite movie motors, it's also given me a lot of ideas for my next project, whenever that day comes.

I'd never really thought about it before, but with my more recent acquisition I'd probably have to agree (it's also easier than listing the tons and tons of awesome and obscure movie cars that I always lust after)

I now really, really cringe when I see those bumpers getting ripped off and the car getting worse with each manoeuvre. I just keep thinking to myself how much I could do with most of those parts. In the condition they *were* in.

Another one also appears in every episode of Bates Motel (not a film, but still on the screen). My GF is sick of me going, "I'VE GOT ONE OF THEM" everytime it appears.
