Hi all I'm looking for a cheapish pickup to move my bikes around, would prefer petrol, with a decent m.o.t., I don't mind if it needs work and doesn't have to be pretty.....diesels are ok but unless its 2002 it won't be LEZ compliant, hence the petrol engine. I have a limited budget(sounds pain full)around the £1000 mark, maybe a little more I realise that it a big ask, but you never know..... I would consider anything and I don't mind travelling anywhere really, thanks for looking guys. Got a few bikes and peds mostly 2 strokes, that need work, might be able to do a deal?

Best bet would be something like a Skoda Felicia pickup or maybe a Proton Jumbuck, both petrol and I've seen both for less than a grand?

Thanks guys, the espero is just a bit to "different", but the Jumbuck appeals, just not sure about the bed length, I don't collect many larger bikes, but they do come along now and again.

My old hilux was a G reg. that was LEZ compliant Was it registered as an MPV/ estate - thats the only difference between why a Surf is OK in the zone and a Hilux isn't

I could be tempted to sell my diesel delica l400
Its lez compliant, will take a load of bikes and still have room for anything else you might want to stick in it
Shame you cant double your budget

Thanks for the replies smurf, I already have a van, a 54 plate citroen dispatch, but as I have recently moved house I need some thing to collect building materials as well, the citroen is good but, I don't want to wreck it, carrying bricks and stuff.
