White Mk2 Escort Sport OKH341V, Wellingborough 08/01/16





White South African import Mk2 Escort registered in the UK with the plate OKH341V was stolen from a secure lock up garage opposite the owners house in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire on Friday 8th January 2016.
The car is white with black stripes and has a picture of a piranha on the bonnet. The car has over riders on the front quarter bumpers, aftermarket door mirrors & a black stripe where the spoiler should be. The car has black alloys of unknown origin.
The engine is a crossflow, the block has been painted red, is fitted with a chrome rocker cover & a chrome air filter. The tops of the front struts have been painted red. Inside the car is a blue roll cage & blue TRS bucket seats with a grey X on the headrest.
The car is an ongoing project for the owner so the car has no MOT & is currently on SORN.

I think it would be safe to say that this car is likely to have been nicked by someone involved in a car 'scene' somewhere and it saddens me to think that they're amongst us.

Who said they ain't to blame? The difference here is that no one knows who is likely to of done this, unlike the recent case of banger racers stealing cortinas, even the banger community are admitting that it's members of their community doing it

There's probably more of a chance of this escort being stolen to be rung and sold on with the use of dodgy ebay ringing kits than anything else tbh.

Hi, There is some comfort in that the Escorts are being stolen (albeit for profit) to be cherished or desired. The Cortinas,s are being stolen to be destroyed, which to me just seems mindless.

when my car got nicked, if id found the scrote who nicked it along with the car, whatever reason he gave me for nicking it there would be no understanding from me at all. I would fail to see any positivity comming from their activity.
