Awesome! Diff, if you want some of the lazy cut spacers I made to go between the wheel half's to adjust the width, ping me a message with your address and I'll stick some in the post for you.

Cheers Mark , thanks for the offer but I am sticking with them at standard width at the moment . I am about to try them on the D12 so may have to order some more.

Ooops, more projects. They are addictive, I keep looking at getting another C24 to build up a C54 .

Suspension is on mine now, still a couple of mods I want to do, but I want it running before I do them. Got a Tx Rx set, and an ESC should be here by Friday. Body is a couple of coats of paint away from being done. So hopefully it'll be mobile soon and I can start having fun with it. 😃

D12 is looking smart diff! Got the cab and wiring tied up on the Zil and tested it on the new axles and servo briefly. Looking good!

That looks ace Diff. I shall have passed my D12 on - well back - shortly, it's going back to the lad I bought it from in a swap for his half built C34KM. I really hope he hasn't started building the axles yet! I've fitted the body kit a bit better for him and made him up a set of Kamtec wheels so I feel a bit less guilty about the situation. I made some progress with the leaf sprung C34 this afternoon. Originally I bought B series aftermarket springs, but they were nothing like long enough. So I had a go with some 1/10 ones, knowing they would probably be too long. They are, but I've managed to accommodate it by putting the inboard mounting further in than it should really be, and moving the axle down the spring towards the shackle end. The shackles themselves are in the process of being shortened and I still have to draw up and cut the new front chassis rails and bumper mounting.

All looking good fellas. I'm still waiting on my ESC. Green paint is done, will be getting some black when I sort my thinners out. In other news, I've got my eye on a set of pretty cool looking bead locks.

On a completely different note, I've just bought my next project. It's not WPL, MN or the like so I'll start a different thread when it arrives and I start to modify it. ESC for the D90 had arrived, so I need to get my finger out and get it put together before the next one arrives.

Electrics you say. I'm having bother. I thought it would be plug and play but none of the connectors on my battery, ESC or motor are compatible. The only 2 wires I know how to connect are the servo plug off the ESC and the servo plug for the steering. There are no instructions with the esc. I have no idea how to connect it up. Can anyone give me an idiots guide please.
🤔😃

Cheers mark, will do as soon as I can. I figured they would be motor and battery. I cut the connectors off the ESC to work out what was what then solder them. It didn't do anything regardless of how I connected them up, hence coming here for advice. I've wired up and rewired hundreds of 00 gauge locomotives so I thought this was gonna be a doddle. 😀 Edit, just to say I've just watched a vid on YouTube and what I've done so far should have worked. I've had both wires, battery and motor connected so something should have happened. I'm wondering now if I need to rebind the Tx Rx. The instructions said it was done at the factory, but may not have been. I dunno, I'm just guessing now. 🤔

There'll probably be another vid online for the bind process. For my FlySky sets it's a bit of a faff if they lose it.

Something write like having the bind plug in the reciever, them turning on the transmitter while holding down the bind button.
I've only had to do it a few times but have to re learn it every time.
