Lolz, I thought I had colour coded it to the side repeaters. I love the colour of Macca's Passat, I will own a properly orange car at some point.

Good news in Bognor Towers today, the little car has earnt itself (with a some assistance from me) another years ticket.
It failed yesterday on a must spectacualrly annoying failour of both front indicators - which had worked when tested the night before, and on the way to the test centre! The holders got a clean and worked fine. I also had a rear spring unseat, so I've shortened the droop straps to prevent it happening again. Earlier in the week I fitted two CV joints as both boots had split and there was some definate play in the joints on there.

Splitter is custom, from 4mm MDF

I'm sort of looking to find something a bit less likely to soak up water over the winter. I had though I would just leave it on for gathering, but never got round to taking it off. Last week the very rough and steep slope up ito my local garage/MOT emporium made it a bit wobbly, then the brake rollers made it worse, it then removed itself on the way home from my freshly aquired ticket. So I'm now abliged to sort it out properly.

I might make it a bit smaller, it doesn't clear the speed bumps into work in its original size, and I have to cross them twice every day.

Boso-lite, isn't that an oxymoron?

fibreglass the splitter and keep it big! you can just glass it up every time you smash it anyways.

Thanks to the guidance of the good people on here, we (SWMBO and myself) are now actively seeking an Automatic K11. I've spent the evening googling 'Micra PCD' and surfing eBay for cool accessories!

Theres some CVT K11s for the ultimate in not having to change gear cool.

4x100 and centre bore of 59.1 (which is bigger than most other OEM 4x100 wheels - though renault fit)

I feel I should point out that the man from scimitarweb is refering to Wheel-Whores, there is a link to my WW thread in one of their posts, and not RR.

I've had a bit of an epiphany over the last week or so, and gone right off of my tall tyres. I really want some 165/55s but of course have no money for extravigances like full sets of tyres. It would also be rude not to dress my 7" and 8" wheels with the same, and I not long ago had a very good pairs of 155/70s and 175/60s fitted to them. Ball bags.

mark ignore the scumweb guys, they,ve been doin dished wolfies and splitters for years , i find the 'japanese ' scene mods the most difficult to explain to anyone at car shows , i have appeared for a few years in various japanese vehicles to various classic car shows , upon arrival rocking rims, cut springs ,chin sploilers, subway rings , J plates etc etc it always make me chuckle as the flat cap brigade are expecting some skinny erbert with a baseball cap on back to front to climb out , instead a portly greying fella 'squeezed 'into some retro t shirt gets out , i personally could spend hours looking at J cars with silly against the grain mods, after all it took my eye , i used to be a mad mini and early saab fan!!! love the micra man it is one cool daily imho!!
