Well we took the car out to my dads and I popped it into the garage. I couldn't resist the spanners lol Basically I have 2 major jobs. Loom and fuel system. And a few minor jobs. Weld on lambda bung, make an idle control system, mount ecu, make throttle cable hanger, connect up servo and breather pipes Should do most of it in an evening I would have thought.

It looks more tame/stock now, hope it will run better with this setup.

Yeah does look tame lol. I kinda prefer it, I think the engine bay will look empty and tidier Iam sure it'll run better and Iam confident that it will be almost same power ad carbs

awesome thread, read from start to finish just now. given me lots of ideas for my k11 engine wise am i correct in thinking that if i too find a rover zs manifold, and chop it up a bit it will fit, provided i leave a screw hole for the lambda sensor, it would still run fine without a CAT? as I'm going to leave injection on for peace of mind and consumption figures, provided this would still work. got a bike can to go on mine that will fit perfectly too so might aswell make a whole new exhaust system for it while I'm at it and make a manifold fit cheers

Yea mate will work perfect with lambda and no cat.
The inner runners can be tweaked in with a vice but I recommend cutting the outer runners and rewelding at different angle. The most time consuming part wad the flange
Cheers dude

cheers for the advice swift! will have a look at the local scrappy and see what they've got, the volvo 340 i've got has a 4 branch too which i could cut up but i think it might be a bit too wide and would be too much effort to modify to fit. is the difference in the crank pulleys noticeable? cheers!

Idle control works pulls but had to drill the hole in the throttle body out from 1mm to 6mm so that it starts from cold

Nice job, as usual!
Wouldn't a Super S bodykit do the trick?
And with 175/55R15 tires on 7J alloys with low offset would look good.
