Nissan also offered different bodykits as an accesoire, most of them produced by Foha. Very eighties in style.
185/60R14 is quite large in diameter, They did scrub on my 35mm lowered Micra with 38offset (6J). But 6deg will alter things. I assume handling is not really an issue? 185/55 or 50 R14 are more expensive, but will fit the arches better.

Rolling road on Thursday. Anyone fancy a guess at what power it'll make twas 98hp on webers

Is it pretty nippy then for an old micra? Nearly 100hp?? Looks pretty cool I must say.

Yeah man for a hatch back its quick. For a micra its ridiculous lol. I have beaten my mates 205gti off the lights, as well as mk2 golf gti and glanza turbo. Also destroyed a 207gti on a fast twisty road. High compression engine with cams and headwork is going in mid November

Can you still rev it as high as with the Webers? I'm inclinced to guess it around 85hp now, if you cannot achieve the revs. However you wouldn't be able to beat the mentioned cars. If you can rev it, it could be pretty much the same, perhaps you gain a little bit in in midrange. But I assume that the coolness of a Webers will add a couple of horsepower as well

But I assume that the coolness of a Webers will add a couple of horsepower as well It doesnt have a limiter The standard cams make full power at about 6000rpm. I personally think it has a lot more torque because it slips the clutch a lot more now! They are about 85hp as standard iirc

Anyone got any inspiration for me? Skirts ect? Anyone know of an inspirational japhatch thread somewhere? Awesome thread! Brings back memories of my K10, was getting ready to start engine mods (I'd swapped out the 4sp MA10 for a 5sp MA12 - but it needed lowering and more power) and a final sort out of the body work, but someone kindly crashed into my and wrote it off Not necessarily for inspiration, but for info... Keep up the good work, don't get rid!

They are about 85hp as standard iirc Stock was 75hp in my schoolbook. The big plus of the Webers was that the intake traject was short and straight which helps to rev it and improve flow. The injection manifold isn't better in these aspects so I would expect less power. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Because it is still an awesome Micra!

Nice project - and the engine sounds like it will be a bit of a screamer.
Cheeky question - I don't suppose you have a spare CG10 flywheel kicking around? If so, could you measure the overall diameter of it? I'm pondering swapping possibilites and was wondering whether it would fit in my bellhousing. If not, a guesstimate would be better than nothing - a measurement of the CG13 wouldn't hurt if that's possible. Thank you in advance. ;D

Yeah man Wikipedia says 79 for cg13 and 85 for cga3 I was reading the wrong bit lol The carb setup had a really crappy inlet so I reckon I could have got lots more power from a nice inlet! The cga3 inlet that I have now is far from ideal Power figure by midday tomorrow Thanks for the compliments

Next week I hope to swap engines so ill be able to measure the cg10 flywheel then, if that's any good for you? Cheers
