In are case the teacher was in the clear. A nob in a brand new Vauxhall Calibra went through a red light at a crossroad. It t-boned us, and impacted right where I was sitting. The bus was flipped on to its side took out a traffic light slide about 20 metres and came to rest in a bus stop. Luckily we all walked away and I only had a black eye. Ironically the police said that if I had my seatbelt on I probably would have been killed on impact.

	Reminds me of the united colours of Benetton cars VW did in the 1990s. Starting to look quite purposeful now. I will have to keep an eye out for it,as it looks like you’re in the same city as me.

	For the sun visors, could you not use some coloured Perspex. Some classics used to have them.

	One trick that I heard about to lock an engine. Was to remove a sparkplug and put some rope into the cylinder. Then turn it over by hand until it locks up. The rope is soft enough not to do any damage.

	When I’m doing nicer display bits of woodwork at work, I use Halfords own clear top coat. It is drying quickly and you can build up the layers to give a nice depth to the finish.

	I don’t think my Trabant is going to scare any Farriers, but the engine has been modified from 26hp to 43hp. And is now just below 600 kg.
