Finally I find out what the car was rotten into the ground near my mates farm. Pretty much the bottom 3 feet were gone, and I found an Alfa Giulia badge but out loud said "They didn't make a Giulia estate, must be a Super Minx or something". (this was when I was about 6 lol)

These must be fantastically rare. They're definitely stunningly beautiful, although I hadn't heard of them either.

It's lovely and I'd happily own one, but unusually I think the saloon has better proportions. I also prefer that saloon to the sportier coupe variants...but this one is rather splendid.

Greed, it looks a bit odd - but I still like it very much! And personaly I think the rear end of a Giulia never was a true stunner anyway I'm a fan of slightly odd loking cars, especially if they'r estates Or is it just my estate-fetish? anyway; I think it's beautifull Cheers, Jan

Update: they've been build by Carozzeria Colli from Milan. Established in 1931. Amongst Alfa 6C bodys they've also build this roadable aircraft in 1946: ( it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colli_PL_2C_(Aerauto) ) "The Milanese (Italy) coachbuilder Carrozzeria Colli was established by Giuseppe Colli in 1931 and included his four sons, Mario, Candido, Beniamino and Tarcisio.[1] The company was specialized in using aluminium its works. The fist automobiles it made were racing cars using Fiat 1100 mechanicals and chassis, also Fiat 500, Lancia Astura and Aprilia were used as basis. During the war the company worked for airforces and after the wars made car bodies. After the war they made couple of Alfa Romeo 6C 2500SS, Lancia Aprilia based cars and for the 1947 Villa d'Este a Fiat 500 barchetta. Colli made one very special protype in 1946, the Aerauto PL.5C roadable aircraft. From 1950s it made work with Alfa Romeo making cars such as 6C 3000CM and own single variant of Disco Volante. The company built also Giulietta and Giulia estate cars in the 1960s.[2] In 1955 Colli constructed the very shortly used Arzani-Volpini Formula One car utilising a twin-supercharged Maserati 1500 inline-four engine.[1] Colli made car bodies until 1973."
