Long time no update
car came off the road 2nd feb (and its killing me not to drive it)
urm where to start, ive got a fair few pics on this but i wont bore you to death with all the small stuff
small recap 500 abarth 1.4 turbo engine
a large hole in my engine bay
a small parts pile to go on the car (imagine this at 1/4 of the pile)
complete front suspension rebuild
driveshafts rebuild
all new discs and pads all around
brake calipers recon
new wheel bearings and hubs
new steering rack
new engine mounts and inserts
powdercoated all brackets
stage 3 paddle clutch and lightweight flywheel
new heater matrix, radiator and piping
etc etc
anyone who watched BOM theres abit of CAD for you
all stainless log manifold
2.25" turbo back exhaust with 2 cherry bomb resonators and a 2.5" tip
downpipe is stainless rest of exhaust is mild steel as I'm not keeping it (will see why later)
few randoms
modified water pipe for turbo water return etc
bracket before and after
1 or 2 gauges to keep an eye on things
minor snag flywheel doesnt fit crank, bit of macging later sorted
shes in
Few of thise o curse word its tight pics
blue hose used to mock up all stainless braided hoses with heat resistant sleeving used
gives you an idea and no the oil return isnt going up hill it just the pic
felt nice putting in brand new headlights in, until i chopped one up so it wouldnt get in the way of the engine(Y) keen eyed will see the new now old and binned ecu
pretty much finalised in this pic, turbo blanket was also stuck on after the radiator came off as i didnt forget about it
does look nice
custom intercoler fitted, need to change a few items to keep myself happy
intake piping in place
got myself some stupidly rare brand new old stock oem rwd arms so when the cars running il start building it up for AWD
currently not running due to me wiring up oem turbo ecu which turbos out its as good as a paper weight so going MS2 with a few extras
so hopefully a year from now i will be 200+hp and AWD
Thats all i got for now
