Hello all, bit of a strange one this. . .
Need to get a message to kevfromwales urgently.
Weekend of retrorides he arrived at mine on the Friday and left his new model Y on my drive to be collected by 12th September. No probs wife was ok with this as it was to leave.
It hasn't! Spoke to him on the 12th as Jimmy was collecting the Humber on the Saturday and the Y would be in the way. He was supposed to arrive 8am on the 13th to collect it and I've not been able to get in touch with him from then!
Daily phone calls and messages are not being returned and the wife has told me it need to be gone by the end of the month or the tat man can take it as far as she cares.
So if anyone does speak to him can they tell him to move it ASAP!! It is now in the way of getting my own car in / out of the garage for winter!! (Pics of model Y as payment to follow)

The kev sky signal has failed me.
The model y remains on our driveway to the continual ear ache from the wife.
I'm not sure what to do, his phone rings but no response with the best will in the world a battery won't last 6 weeks so he must be ignoring me, if anyone does speak to kev can they jog his memory on this and ask him to get in contact / move it.
Thanks all

Another option that i know works is apply to DVLA for the V5 which in turn the dvla will send a letter to the registered owner or keeper or how ever worded then if they get no reply its yours legally as you cannot make any contact with the owner/keeper or it might give Kev a kick up the a""e to come and collect it .......could be worth a try , and my father in law did this about 3 or 4 years ago .....

Utter rubbish, you cannot 'legally' assume ownership of a car just because the Registered Keeper does not make contact with you.

That may or may not be true, but I have known the same thing happen, just as kram suggests.

Sorry but thats just not true or I would br applying for a logbook for every vehicle going into long term parking at airports. All it will do other than curse word off the legal owner is make you responsible for any fines etc due to it not being sorn etc

He then gets contact with the owner, which is exactly what he's trying to do, simples.

Thanks for the responces. Still no luck but I have no intention of trying to become responsible for this car. Just tried to do a fellow RRer a favour.
I'm a very patient guy however this has resulted in me deciding to no longer offer temporary car spaces to anyone ever again, I would understand if there was a call of 'I've got a problem can you wait till... ' by to have no contact is disappointing.
Smaller things 'may' still be held for RR peeps as long as it would have no chance of getting in my way.

His total absence and non-communicado is odd though...

Let's just hope he is okay health-wise primarily. There must be a genuine reason for these events?

I'm not too far from him... I'll see if I can get hold of him. He has kinda disappeared... Even from book face. Kev's a decent bloke and probably a reason for this ( I know it doesnt help ya tho).
