Hope you do not mind Paul,
This is not necessarily the same, but hopefully in the same direction.
For those who do not know what a Coyote is........
It may just be the best one yet, once you have grafted it in.

Like button is not enough, but same comment.
I like it.
Looks like a really clean truck too.
Must feel nice working on it, different to the last few, but a great project.

That front end is a dream. You could drag your favourite armchair in there and sit in that and work on it. Makes a change from most UK cars where you struggle to get access.

From last night: Is the truck easier to work on than as rusted International? YES. Better to work on than a Durango, too. In other news, A deer jumped into the side of my X5 the other day. Dented the door. I hate deer. I like trucks. Making the material list today, to begin cramming this engine & trans into this old blue truck. I dumped many gallons of coolant and trans fluid on the floor, but cleaned it all up last night. Looks decent today, win. More later

I am looking forward to your thoughts on the finished vehicle.
The internationals you have built reside on modern suspension and have a drivetrain that was integrated with a lot of sophisticated engineering. What I expect is an old looking truck that feels more like a modern Durango. In other words, not an uncomfortable place to spend time.
After a lot of years of playing with classic cars, I came to the realization that I am no longer tolerant of their old-time chassis, ride and NVH. Pretty much what drove me to the chassis swap in my project.
So, when you are done, let us know which truck you would rather drive cross country and drive on-track when you arrive?

This project has instilled a deep desire to both own one of those Ford trucks from the era and a coyote engine. I keep coming back to this thread and this rather nice example of a truck...
If only....
Looking forward to the next update!

I'll be pulling it outside today, the Hemi #4 is coming back for finishing touches. I'm driving it through the city today, so expect the international thread to be updated, if you're following that one. Blue work, resumes tomorrow

We've got a custom harness/loom being made. More importantly, the 4.6 Shelby GT engine and the carbureted 302 are both For Sale
