I'm in desperate need of some more money to fund my XT trackcar project so i'm flogging all of this old stuff thats cluttering up my garage.
Peugeot 205 Front Struts
My old front struts that i replaced with some PTS coilovers, They include; Bilstein OE replacement dampers (very good) Eibach 7001 -40mm progressive springs, BBM GrpN top mount rubbers and some allmost new topmount bearings.
The dampers and springs have been on the car for about a year and have covered about 15,000 miles but are still in great condtion and still performed well on track. The top mount rubbers and bearings have only done a few hundred miles and one trackday where they made a real positive difference to the handling of the car.
These are great front struts and possibly the best fastroad/track combination you can get. £80 +postage ONO
Peugeot 205 1.6 GTI calipers
These calipers are BrakeParts UK recondtioned calipers. I bought them some time ago as the motorfactors had them on the shelf and wanted them gone so i traded my old calipers for them. They have done approxamatly 6,000 miles on my car and recently passed the brake test on an MOT prefectly so they must be pretty good. They come with the Pagid RS4-2 "blue" pads with loads of life left in them. Ask anyone who has used these pads and they will tell you they are excellent for road and track alike. The calipers could do with a clean but other than that they work fine.
The whole setup cost me nearly £200 but i'm only asking for £60 +postage ONO
Mocal Oil Cooler
I used to have this fitted to my 205 XT for about 1,000 miles but it wasnt cooling the oil enough. I found that on my engine it would bring the oil temps down by about 20C (i needed it to come down by 40C) It has 1/2" BSP fittings (standard fittings) and also has a slightly bent mounting tab but other than that it is perfect.
I'm asking for £40 +postage ONO
Saracen Mountain bike
I know jack all about pushbikes but i do know that this one is taking up too much space in my garage so it needs to go (plus i really need the money) It has has a frame up rebuild and the frame itself has been powder coated white. It's got triple clamp forks which have plenty of travel and 2 fairly new tyres. It also has a chain tensioner fitted and an allmost new saddle which is reasonably comfortable. The only problem with it is that it has a flat rear tyre and would need a new innertube (probably)
I've no idea how much to ask for this so how does £100 sound (no postage for obvious reasons)
All of this stuff has to go ASAP. Thanks for looking. Mark
